After a lengthy investigation, Italian police have arrested a 35-year-old Albanian man with residency in Bolzano.
He was employed at a transportation company, lived in the Kaiserau neighborhood, had a residence permit and also owned a garage in the Don Bosco neighborhood. However, his income from regular work was apparently not enough.
As officers discovered, he also stole but also distributed drugs. During a search of the garage, the order's officers found two expensive e-bikes, which had been stolen in the city a few days earlier.
They have already been returned to the rightful owners. Investigators have seized another 11 kilograms of marijuana and a sum of 2,990 euros.
He is charged with receiving stolen property and drug trafficking. Investigations are underway to identify potential sales channels and backers.
Kuestori Paolo Sartori revoked the Albanian residence permit so that he would be expelled from the country afterwards.
