The British ambassador in Tirana, Alastair King-Smith from the education congress called on the young Albanians not to leave.
Referring to the high number of Albanians who are fleeing in rafts to England, the diplomat had an appeal. He said that success does not depend on wealth, but education and work.
" Many young people leave Albania. They are used by smugglers. We urge them to stop, not only are the get-rich-quick promises a lie, they will be forced to engage in crime and drugs.
But the conditions will become dangerous, the sea will be rougher and the weather will be cold. The road to success does not depend on rafts, but on education and work ," he said. In recent months, according to the British media, hundreds of thousands of young Albanians have gone to England in rafts.
