Albania removes visas with these two distant countries
Nicaragua

Albania has decided to remove visas with two countries, Nicaragua and Kyrgyzstan. The decisions were approved at the meeting of the Council of Ministers today.

With Nicaragua, the visa waiver covers all categories, both ordinary and diplomatic and service passports.

Whereas with Kyrgyzstan this only applies to holders of diplomatic and service passports.

First decision:

In support of Article 100 of the Constitution and Article 10 of Law No. 43/2016, "On International Agreements in the Republic of Albania", with the proposal of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ministers

DECIDE:

The approval, in principle, of the agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of the Republic of Nicaragua, for the exemption of visas for ordinary, diplomatic and service passports, according to the text attached to this decision.

This decision takes effect immediately.

Second decision:

In support of Article 100 of the Constitution and Article 10 of Law No. 43/2016, "On International Agreements in the Republic of Albania", with the proposal of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ministers

DECIDE:

Approval, in principle, of the agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, for the exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports, according to the text attached to this decision.

This decision takes effect immediately.
