A suspected explosion involving explosives was recorded in the early hours of the morning on "Mother Teresa" Boulevard in Tirana, near a complex under construction.

At around 03:40, a small amount of explosive material exploded outside the construction site fence, causing only minor material damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

From initial investigations and security camera footage seized by police, the perpetrator is suspected of acting alone. He is seen approaching the compound's perimeter, placing the explosives, and then leaving on a motorbike.

Sources indicate that one of the leads being investigated is related to a possible conflict between the building owners, although they themselves have stated to investigators that they have no problems or conflicts with other people.

Immediately after the explosion, the Police services and the investigation team arrived at the scene, working to identify and capture the perpetrator, as well as to fully legalize the event.
