The court has declared the former mayor of Pogradec, Eduart Kapri, innocent. He was accused of violating equality in tenders and abuse of office.

Kapri and 5 former officials of this Municipality were first accused of violations in the tender for the purchase of firewood with 9.2 million Lek held in October 2017.

Another charge against the former mayor was that of obstructing the local elections of June 30, 2019 - by locking up 3 schools and 1 kindergarten in the outer district in the 2nd and 5th districts of the city designated by the CEC as voting centers.
