Gentian Bejtja , the target of the attack in Kruja, where his brother-in-law was killed and his two sons were injured, had sought asylum in Norway and Sweden to protect himself, but was denied.

As a result of the problems in Albania, Bejtja had previously requested asylum in Norway first and then in Sweden, but these requests were not accepted.

More than 20 shells were found at the scene of the assassination. Durim e Valter Bami and Marklen Haka have been escorted to the police, as they are suspected of being involved in the criminal event. The three accomplices are known as Nikla's three strong men, as they have significant criminal records in the past.

Likewise, the 41-year-old was suspected in 2004 of an attempted murder. He is suspected of the murder of Erzen H. and Hasan K. Also, Durim Bami turns out to be the last person who met the citizen Enver Stafuka.


Earlier, he was sentenced to 4 years in prison for the criminal offense of hostage taking. Bami was also detained in September 2018 by a RENE operation in Nikël after information that there were weapons, drugs and quantities of explosives in the residences of the powerful in this area.

Marklen Haka është pjesë e “Bandës së Niklës” dhe i ka shpëtuar dy atentateve, një në vitin 2019 dhe një në vitin 2022.

Gentian Bejtja ish-efektiv i policisë njihet ndryshe edhe si anëtar i bandës së Niklës, ndërsa disa vite më parë ai së bashku me Enver Stafuka u arrestuan pasi kishin vjedhur autoveturën e cila u përdor në vrasjen e kryekomisar Dritan Lamajt në vitin 2013.

Gjithashtu është arrestuar dhe për arsenal armesh dhe dyshohet si person i përfshirë në shumë krime kundra personit e pronës.

Kush është Gentian Bejtja, si i shpëtoi dy herë atentatit

Bejtja është një emër i njohur për policinë. Me 9 janar të vitit 2022 Gentian Bejtja i shpëtoi një atentati në afëris të Niklës në Fushë-Krujë ndërsa mbeti i plagosur miku i tij 31 vjeçar, Klodian Stafuka që ishte me të në makinë gjatë momentit kur ndaluan për të furnizuar makinën në një pikë karburanti. 

Gentjan Bejtja më 2016 i ka shpëtuar një atentati, me eksploziv. Bejtja ishte personi që së bashku me Enver Stafukën vodhën veturën e përdorur në vrasjen e kryekomisar Dritan Lamajt në vitin 2013.

Por po ashtu Bejtja, një ish- polic i burgut të Fushë- Krujës, është i njohur për policinë për precedentë penalë në krimet ndaj pronës.

Bejtja u bë i njohur me 26 shkurt të vitit 2013, një ditë pas vrasjes së kryekomisar Dritan Lamajt, në rrugën “Petro Korçari”, fare pranë banesës së tij.
