The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of former officer Jeton Lami, upholding his sentence of 2 years and 10 months in prison.
Jeton Lami was convicted by the Lezha Court after being seen in the company of Ervis Martinaj, before the latter was declared missing in August 2022.
The decision of 2 years and 10 months in prison, which was also upheld by the Court of Appeal with General Jurisdiction, was appealed to the High Court by former officer Lami. But this court also upheld the same decision.
Ervis Martinaj was an internationally wanted person after Nuredin Dumani accused him of promising 500 thousand euros to execute his rival Endrit Dokle, when the family reported losing contact with him.
