A few hours after Gentjan Bejtja's execution with firearms, the police are said to have accompanied Valter Bami.
Valter Bami was under house arrest since January 18 of this year, when he was released by the court for lack of evidence. Bami stayed in prison for 6 months, after being arrested as a suspect in the July 4, 2023 assassination attempt against Gentjan Bejtjas.
A former friend of the latter, despite the suspicions of the investigators, Bami was only charged with possession of a weapon without a permit.
42-year-old Gentjan Bejtja was executed this Friday in the backyard of his house in the village of Larushke in Fushë Krujë.
At least 3 people allegedly participated in this criminal event. Shortly after the murder, the police authorities found a burned car, inside which they discovered 4 Kalashnikovs, which are suspected to belong to the perpetrators.
The first suspicions are that Bejtja spotted the perpetrators and tried to leave, as traces of blood were found in the backyard of his house up to the back.
Gentjan Bejtja had escaped 3 assassinations in the past. The most serious was the one on July 4, 2023. The attack was carried out in his apartment and Bejtja's brother-in-law was killed and his two minor sons were injured.
Precisely for this event, Bejtja was wanted by the police, who until today had not been able to track him down.
In advance, the washing of accounts seems to be the main clue of the investigators for the murder of Gentjan Bejtja.
