Escorting the DP candidate, the Fier Police reacts: He had put up a poster

The police of Fier have reacted after escorting the DP candidate Fatjon Semanjaku. Police say he had put up a poster in the city centre without permission, and had opposed the municipal police who asked him to remove the poster.

According to police, he was escorted to avoid escalating the conflict and was released shortly after.

Reaction of the Fier Local Police Directorate:

Regarding a news published about the escort to the Commissariat of the citizen FS (Candidate for deputy of the political entity Democratic Party), we clarify that:

Around 18:50, the Director of the Municipal Police informed the Operating Room of DVP Fier that a political entity has placed a poster in the city center, in violation of the law and is opposing the forces of the Municipal Police for the removal of this poster.

After the notification received, the Police services went to the scene which, in order to prevent the escalation of the conflict, accompanied the person who was opposing the municipal police, the candidate for deputy of the Democratic Party, the citizen FS, who was immediately released.

The Fier Local Police Directorate assures political subjects and citizens that the Police services are maximally committed to preventing and cracking down on illegalities as well as to guarantee order and security.
