A shocking incident for a child has occurred in Tirana. Police report that a 12-year-old boy took his father's pistol and fired into the air. The video then circulated on social media.

The police have released his father, 53 years old with the initials BX.

" The Tirana Local Police Directorate announces that the Crime Investigation specialists of Police Commissariat No. 1 have referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings have been initiated against citizen BX, 53 years old, after a video posted on social networks shows his son, a 12-year-old child, shooting in the air with a maneuver pistol.

The police reacted immediately after identifying the video, seizing the weapon and 14 practice rounds as material evidence.

"In the meantime, the procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action in this matter . "
