The former mayor of Fushë Arrëzi Fran Tuci, convicted of abuse of office, together with his two associates Durim Margjekaj and Ndoc Marku, is released from his cell.

Tuci has served the sentence of 1 year and 6 months with the time spent in custody.

GJKKO accepted the request of the lawyers to cancel the sentence. 234 million ALL is the damage calculated by SPAK in the state budget for which Tuci and the other two were found guilty, a decision that was also upheld by the Special Court.

According to the prosecution body, Fran Tuci has deforested a large area in the municipality he led, building a road segment, for which he himself says he was asked by the citizens of the area.
