The Special Court has again postponed the hearing against Shkodra Mayor Benet Beci and 6 other defendants, accused of violating equality in tenders conducted in collaboration.

The reason was the absence of two of the lawyers, and the next session was postponed to May 20. Beci himself did not attend the trial.

According to SPAK, Beci is accused of violating equality between operators in a consultancy tender conducted by KESH in 2019, with the object of "Strategic Development of the Energy Sector", worth 96.5 million lek.

The investigation began after the referral of acts by the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH), following the seizure of cell phones in Evis Berber's apartment.
