Spanish authorities dismantled in valencia province one of the most active criminal organizations, run by Albanians, and dealt mainly with international cocaine trafficking.
More than 820 kilograms of cocaine have been seized and 17 people arrested, including the group's head, known for its contacts in Latin America, Europe and Dubai.
The checks were also seized 226,500 euros in cash, three devices for detecting ELECTRONIC GPS devices, and 13 vehicles.
The operation has been underway for twelve months and three stages of execution have been carried out. The investigation began in early 2023 after learning of the existence of a criminal organization that, led by Albanian citizens residing in Valencia, was dedicated to large-scale cocaine trafficking and money laundering.
The leader of the organization, who ran several companies based in Spain, was initially identified.
Investigators then identified other members of the criminal network, which allowed them to specify the structure as well as the discovery of several luxury houses and industrial warehouses in different parts of Valencia that the organization had at its disposal.
