A minor argument in a barbershop in Rome's Centocelle neighborhood has degenerated into a serious criminal incident. A 29-year-old Albanian man stabbed a 24-year-old Indian barber in the neck with scissors, leaving him seriously injured, writes Gazeta Sinjali.

The incident took place on Via Filippo Parlatore, where the Albanian, who has a criminal record, entered into a conflict with the employee. During the verbal argument, he grabbed a pair of scissors and attacked the victim, who, although in serious condition, is out of danger to his life at the Umberto I hospital.

After the attack, the perpetrator fled on foot, but the carabinieri were able to identify him through security cameras and the testimony of bystanders. He was caught the next morning in a park in the Tor Sapienza area.

Investigations revealed that the 29-year-old was wanted for violating a house arrest order previously imposed for offences including drug trafficking, forgery of documents and resisting police. He is currently in Rebibbia prison and is expected to appear in court in the coming days on charges of attempted murder.
