January of this year has "winterized", through heavy precipitation, both rain and snow, but also due to the drop in temperatures.

The consequences have been numerous, blockages, floods, both in the country and around the world.

Regarding the weather situation, Lieutenant Enida Doçi from the Military Meteorological Service was in direct contact on today's "Rudina" show.

Initially, it is explained that clear skies and cloudiness will be present in the following days of this week.

The southern area in short-term intervals is expected to experience heavy to high intensity rainfall, in the form of storms, mainly in Gjirokastër, Tepelena, and Saranda. In the high mountainous reliefs in the northeast and southeast, but at altitudes of 700-900 meters, as well as in the Alpine area, low intensity and locally moderate snowfall is expected.

Unstable weather is also forecast for Friday, with low-intensity rainfall of a local character. Snowfall is expected to be present, but with mainly low intensity, mainly in Kukës, Peshkopi, Korçë, as well as in the eastern areas of the territory.

The lowest temperature values ​​are predicted to be up to 3 degrees Celsius, mainly for Kukës and Peshkopia, while maximum values ​​are expected to be up to 16 degrees Celsius for low-lying areas.

In a forecast for next week, relatively stable weather is expected from Monday. However, there will be clear skies and alternating clouds.
