The Head of Emergency, at QSUT, Associate Professor, Eqerem Hasani, has shown who are the cases that went to the emergency room on New Year's Eve.

"30 cases were presented to the emergency department on New Year's Eve. The flows start after 00:00 and continue until 12:00 on January 1,"  he says.

Patients go to the emergency room mainly to do lavage. But were there more women or men?

"The ratio is 3 men and 1 girl. But drunken girls are very aggressive in vocabulary, while drunken men are physically violent,"  declared emergency doctor Eqerem Hasani, invited to the show "Diţe e Re".

The doctor expresses concern about the arrival of patients who bypass the health centers to visit the emergency, creating difficulties.

"There are unwarranted visits to the emergency room. I am appealing even today that patients with a temperature of 37.8 should be directed to health centers and not to our emergency room. Physical spaces are blocked there and not only. We have these cases every day and they are repeated. Coming with small problems and coming from the districts are unjustified",  declared the Chief of Emergency.

What are the cases that should be addressed to the emergency?

Cases with hemorrhage, high blood pressure, diabetes or bleeding. These are cases that absolutely must be presented in an emergency. And these unjustified cases also cause overload and we have placed patients in corridors on stretchers because our premises are blocked.
