Yesterday, businessman Behgjet Pacolli reacted to recent reports regarding the shares of the concession company, accusing notary Valbona Selimi of suspected illegal and secret actions.
In his public statement posted on social media, Pacolli emphasizes that all the controversy and confusion surrounding the Vlora Airport project are a consequence of the actions of notary Selimi, who, according to him, included false documents in the share transfer process.
VoxNews contacted notary Valbona Selimi to ask her about the accusations made by businessman Behgjet Pacolli. Selimi told VoxNews that she cannot comment on the acts signed by the parties.
"To preserve the confidentiality of the actions, I cannot comment on the acts signed by the parties. Please understand this position, without misinterpreting it," Notary Selimi told VoxNews.
VoxNews asked notary Selimi if businessman Behgjet Pacolli was present in her office to sign the transfer of shares. As of the publication of this article, we have not yet received any response from notary Valbona Selimi regarding the last question.
We recall that the Tirana Prosecutor's Office has structured a group of prosecutors to investigate the Vlora airport issue.
The investigation has been registered for 3 individuals: businessman Behgjet Pacolli with his brother Emin Pacolli , as well as citizen Nelson Çela , administrator of the parent company in Switzerland Mabco Construction SA.
All three are officially under investigation for fraud with serious consequences, computer fraud, and forgery of documents and acts.
The investigation suspects that Pacolli is making deals far away to use the Vlora airport as collateral. His actions have left traces near Astana, Kazakhstan.
