Former deputy Ervin Salianji reacted after the serious incident yesterday in Shkodër. In a letter from prison, he says that yesterday's assassination is a chronicle of a foretold event, the Shkodra tragedy where innocent citizens were killed.

Among other things, Salianji writes that "The degradation of order and public security, the fear that citizens have for life, property, health, security cannot be solved by those who created the problem".

Hamza Lici, the brother of Ibrahim Lici, and Arlind Bushati, the son of the former DP candidate for Shkodra municipality, Xhemal Bushati, were killed in the assassination attempt. Also, a woman lost her life and her husband was seriously injured, who were traveling on a motorcycle at the time of the assassination, and were hit by the car driven by Lici and Bushati.

Salianji's letter from prison:

The loss of the lives of innocent citizens, the courage to kill in the middle of the city and the loss of the authority of the state are tragedies that parade in everyone's eyes! Chronicle of a foretold event was the Shkodra tragedy where innocent citizens were killed! The police do not react to a death threat against a young man, powerless to prevent the crime, powerless to catch the perpetrators, powerless to react more than the news agencies. It is a horror in itself how the government turns a blind eye to crimes depending on electoral calculations, no government response to the murders, the minister who stammers and sits in front of the cameras as if they have pointed a gun at him, cannot even dare to condemn the murders or take measures, because the minister is allowed to put their noses in the perfume of Elda Hoti to promote it as a poison of mass destruction, but nobody breaks their noses if they put them in police work, they are called crime and are in the service of the state party! That's why they hate the protestors and get rid of the criminals, that's why they respect the thugs and abuse the prostitutes!

The degradation of order and public safety, the fear that citizens have for life, property, health, safety cannot be solved by those who created the problem!

We will dismantle the gangs with the force of the law and hold responsible every criminal and every puppet that serves them! Justice delays but does not forget!
