New details have come to light from the gas cylinder explosion that occurred this Sunday in Maliq, Korça.

As a result of the explosion, three people were injured and taken to Korça Hospital for medical assistance. 

One of the family members in Maliq, in a statement to the media, explained how the explosion occurred.

The lady of the house says that the explosion was unexpected, and at one point she was trapped and couldn't even open the door.

The woman says the explosion caused significant material damage, while appealing for help.

"We took the canister, the flame itself exploded, the bride was changing it, it opened and went away. I don't remember anything because it filled with smoke, I was looking for my eldest son. I have them in the hospital, I don't know how they are. There is damage to the house, but they only do it to me, because my municipality built these houses, how much they have done to me, I want help, what should I do, where can I find them, the municipality built them, you ask. What should I do, where should I go, I have a sick husband, I am sick without pensions, without anything. The bride works in our house, she has been working for a year, we are all unemployed. There were 3 of us inside the house, the bride, me and the son. My son was left inside, I couldn't open the door, then I opened the door and the son came out", said the woman.
