Landslide on the Përrenjas-Librazhd axis, traffic blocked

Vehicle traffic on the Librazhd-Qafë Thanë road axis has been completely blocked in both directions, as a result of a landslide of soil and rocks from the mountain.

According to the official announcement of the Elbasan Police, the incident occurred in a place called Dragostunjë, where the landslide material occupied the entire width of the road, making it impossible for vehicles to pass.

According to authorities, Traffic Police services are in the area, and they are cooperating with the road maintenance contractor to clear the road and restore traffic as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, the Elbasan Traffic Police appeal to drivers of vehicles headed to Korça or moving in the opposite direction to avoid traffic on this axis until a second announcement regarding the opening of the road.
