Snowfall has returned to the southeastern region, mainly at altitudes above 1100–1200 meters, in the areas around Pogradec. During the early morning hours, the rainfall was of low to medium intensity.
This situation has led authorities to intervene to clear the main roads, especially in areas where rainfall has been heaviest.
On the Qukë-Qafë Plloçë axis and on the top of Qafë Thanë, the snow was more intense during the night, reaching considerable thickness. However, due to spring weather conditions, it has started to melt, remaining mainly present in mountainous areas.
Snowfall has also been recorded in tourist areas such as Dardhë, Voskopoje, Boboshticë, as well as in Leskovik and Ersekë.
Authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution while driving in these areas. Currently, all road axes are passable without problems.
