The Council of Ministers took several important decisions today.

According to the announcement of the Media and Information Agency, the government approved a series of measures in various fields. One of the main decisions is the definition of criteria and procedures for granting licenses for online sports betting.

Also, an area in the village of Lin was declared as an immovable cultural asset "Urban architectural ensemble".

The Council declared several areas in the Municipalities of Bulqizë, Pukë and Lezhe as “Priority Areas for the Development of the Mountain Economy”. The National Action Plan of the European Child Guarantee 2026–2030 was approved. The Assembly was given its opinion on the non-governmental draft law on the administration of seized and confiscated assets.

Also, the construction of two photovoltaic power plants in the Municipalities of Kolonjë and Devoll was approved, which are not subject to concession and do not benefit from support measures. One of the beneficiary companies is “TEKNO FIRE” in Mbreshtan, while the other is “KRONOS KONSTRUKSION” near the village of Vërnik.

The Council of Ministers also decided to grant a special state pension to Fatmir Qeramudin Cuka, at the rate of ten times the social pension. This decision was taken within the framework of government policies for the recognition of individual merits.

The Media and Information Agency informs you about the Decisions and Draft Laws approved at today's government meeting, dated March 26, 2026:

- Decision on determining the evaluation criteria, deadlines, competition procedure and scoring methodology of entities for granting licenses for the on-line sports betting category.

- Declaration of immovable cultural property "Urban architectural ensemble" of an area in the village of Lin.

- The declaration of "Priority Area for the Development of the Mountain Economy" of several areas in the territory of the Bulqizë Municipality.

- The declaration of "Priority Area for the Development of the Mountain Economy" in the territory of the Municipality of Puka.

- The declaration of "Priority Area for the Development of the Mountain Economy" of several areas in the territory of the Municipality of Lezha.

- Approval of the National Action Plan of the European Child Guarantee 2026 – 2030.

- Providing an opinion to the Parliament of the Republic of Albania on the non-governmental draft law "On some additions and amendments to Law No. 34/2019, "On the administration of seized and confiscated assets".

- Approval of the construction of a photovoltaic power generation plant and ancillary works, which is not subject to concession and does not benefit from support measures, in the administrative unit of Mbreshtan, Municipality of Kolonjë, Korçë District, by the company "TEKNO FIRE".

- Approval of the construction of a photovoltaic power generation plant and auxiliary works, which is not subject to concession and does not benefit from support measures, near the village of Vërnik, administrative unit of Qendër Bilisht, Devoll Municipality, Korça District, by the company "KRONOS KONSTRUKSION".

- Granting a special state pension to Mr. Fatmir Qeramudin Cuka, at the rate of ten times the social pension.
