This year, the second edition of the successful automotive fair, " Automotive Fair Albania II ", returns to Tirana this year, a magnificent event that will gather for four days in the capital thousands of car enthusiasts, businessmen and numerous personalities from the country and the world.

From the 26th to the 29th of October, the Palace of Congresses will be transformed into a space for all enthusiasts of classic vehicles, modern ones, vehicle technology and more. The fair will be divided into four pavilions, one of which will be entirely dedicated to technological innovations and "start-ups" related to vehicles.

The head of the General Directorate of Road Transport Services, Blendi Gonxhe, has revealed a number of interesting details from this magnificent event. Gonxhe said that the event will also extend outside the Palace of Congresses, combining exhibitions of classic and modern vehicles with adrenaline-filled sports car races.

"Transport is the epicenter of all life, development, movement, there is no economy, no development without transport. Last year we had 1.5 million vehicles with foreign license plates that transited Albania. The movement situation in the country has been a real challenge. This year we had 60,000 new vehicles registered in the country. We turn around, we are with the car with the vehicle with the road transport. All this makes the automotive industry gather at this big annual meeting, which is a very good opportunity to meet to see, discuss and find the best possible policy solutions. One topic will be that of motor vehicles. Classic motorcycles, a vehicle that moves easily in traffic and reduces traffic", said Gonxhe in an interview on the show "Breaking" on Top News.

Gonxhe also revealed a special detail, as he said that the "supercar made in Albania" will be revealed for the first time at this fair.

"It's been four days, we have three more forums, Green City, together with the Municipality of Tirana and that of Elbasan. The forums will touch on various topics. We also have a very good forum for start-ups that consist of talents, inventions, the world of technology for digitization. It will be a whole floor. It will be held inside the Palace of Congresses, and there will be competitions within the city, as well as tracks. It's a whole festival. The first Albanian supercar will be unveiled. The day will come when we will have road machinery production units", said Gonxhe.

Gonxhe said that during the four days of the fair, politics, business and also those passionate about motoring will discuss, exchanging opinions and ideas about the problems of the automotive industry in our country.

"We want to pick up where we left off. At the beginning of the last century we had a great automotive culture, and there was a pause because of the regime. Now we want to go back to where we belong. This is a much more forward-looking investment than looking at some nice cars in Tirana. Our eyes are from Italy, they have a very great culture", said Gonxhe.
