Prime Minister Edi Rama has explained how the new "Pasqyra Albania" portal is expected to function, which he described as a new contract between the citizen and the state.

According to Rama, citizens will no longer be satisfied with press releases or distributed information, but will have the opportunity to see documents, minutes, decisions, reasons for delays and the persons responsible for the processes related to them.

"In other words, to return to the portal and portals, I am not referring here to media portals, but to institutional ones, which today are shelves. They place information and let the citizen find what he can and understand it as he can. Pasqyra Albania is a contract, a constitutional contract of the citizen with the state, where the citizen does not simply find out what the government said today, but finds out what the government is doing in my name. He finds out why the government is making one decision or another, he finds out who is in charge of this or that issue that interests me. With which law or document can I prove or consult what is being done, where the progress of the process is today, and not only his individual process, but every process. A citizen today cannot be blamed for falling prey to disinformation regarding the services of the Republic of Albania, because he does not have the opportunity to refer to the relevant site. Pasqyra Albania will be the portal that the citizen can turn to himself to find out what is being done with his requests.

The citizen should have the opportunity to find out through documents, not through chatter, through minutes, not through press releases, what really happened and what is really happening. This completely changes the position of the citizen and this gives the citizen one of the things that he is missing a lot, moving him from a researcher in the jungle, in the labyrinth of digital mirrors of information and from a victim of disinformation, to a full supervisory capacity. In the Mirror, he can find the entire factual, documentary basis, the figure, the evidence, the minutes, the expert opinion, the reason for the delay, and in the meantime, all the persons responsible for what is wrong are in the right of the sun", Rama said, among other things.
