Two explosions with explosives have been recorded within a short period of time in Durrës.

The first explosion was recorded outside a bar at around 03:50, in neighborhood no. 11.

According to information, the premises are owned by 41-year-old Gëzim Kajno, sentenced to 10 years in prison for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder" and "Unlicensed Possession and Production of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition".

In March 2016, the 41-year-old killed 29-year-old Asllan Kërtusha. According to the investigation, that year the victim was sitting in a bar and in a drunken state insulting customers, and the owner of the bar, Gëzim Kajno, asked Kërtusha not to insult customers.

After the conflict in the bar, the fight moved outside. Kërtusha tried to leave in a taxi, but was forcibly removed from the car by Gëzim and his uncle Bledar Kajno, who shot him in the heart.
