The Tirana Court today issued the security measure "prison arrest" for Oltion Asllani (Vodollar) and Serxhio Bajza.

Asllani is the 28-year-old who on August 22nd fired a Kalashnikov at a moving vehicle in the Kombinat area, after a violent conflict with several people, terrorizing passers-by on the street after he got out of the vehicle with a gun in his hand.

At the hearing, Asllani claimed that he did not intend to kill, but to scare the people who had physically abused him.

Meanwhile, Bajza stated that he accompanied his friend in the car out of spite, but because he felt threatened by him.

Asllani and Bajza will be investigated for "murder under other qualifying circumstances", which remains an attempted crime.
