Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic announced his resignation today through a press conference to the citizens. The resignation is the result of the "scape-first scape" president Aleksandar Vucic appears to have ordered after days-wide mass protests across the country.

It was Serbian President Vucic who called for "more urgent and massive reconstruction of the government".

During his resignation speech, Vucevic stressed that what happened in Novi Sad -- the loss of 15 lives from the train station collapse -- cast shadows over the Serbian government's mandate. From that moment, Vucevic said, Serbia seemed to be stuck in that accident.

The resignation is expected to be given by Novi Sad's chairman Milan Djuric. It remains to be seen whether serbian protesters will be enough with these resignations to end their protests.
