Protest over Bankers salaries, security workers complain they haven't been

Dozens of employees of the insurance company Bankers Petroleum, have risen in protest this morning, demanding urgent solutions to their economic situation. The protesters say that for 7 months, 120 employees have not received their salaries.

Employees say that the company previously had around 380 employees, but in recent months there have been continuous layoffs, while those who still remain in work are facing long salary delays and total uncertainty about the future.

Drowning in debt and loans, as the lack of wages has left them unable to afford basic family expenses, they require immediate intervention.

Faced with this situation, the protesters warn that they will continue their protests in parallel with work, until their problems are finally resolved.
