Tomorrow's DP protest, Police announce roadblocks in the morning

The police have announced that due to the DP protest in front of Parliament, there will be roadblocks tomorrow.

Initially, "George W. Bush" Street will be blocked, and depending on how the protest goes, there may be other blockages.

"Representatives of the political entity Democratic Party of Albania have notified the Tirana Police of the holding of a rally, tomorrow, at 10:00, in front of Parliament.

In order to guarantee order and security, the Tirana Police, with the support of the General Directorate of the State Police, has taken all measures, based on the law "On Gatherings".

In implementation of these measures, movement will be restricted tomorrow, from 06:00 until the end of the rally, on "George W. Bush" Street.

Depending on the development of the rally, there may be restrictions on vehicle traffic on other road axes. In case of blockage, to assist citizens who will circulate on these axes, Tirana Police has taken measures to divert vehicle traffic to alternative routes.

"The Tirana Police requests citizens' understanding regarding the restriction of vehicle movement, and appeals to distance themselves if they encounter illegal actions that violate public order and safety," the Police announced.
