The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction has today requested life imprisonment for 38-year-old Ramis Mici, who shot his co-habitant Jetlira Elezi to death with a knife.

The event happened in July of last year where Mici left his wife covered in blood in the apartment where they lived for rent and left there quickly. It was the owners of the house who found the woman dead in the middle of the room.

Jetlira Elezi had been raped earlier by her roommate, and had even asked for the help of the police, who, after accompanying her for a few hours, released the abuser.
