A day ago, news circulated in the media that the Milan Prosecutor's Office had requested house arrest for Italian architect Stefano Boeri.

After the news was published, the architect himself reacted, saying that he was shocked and surprised by the decision of the Milan Prosecutor's Office.

" Regarding the latest news in the media, Stefano Boeri declares: I am surprised and extremely shocked. I await with confidence the meeting with the preliminary investigation judge to definitively clarify my position ," declares architect Stefano Boeri.

Italian media reports that the Milan Prosecutor's Office requested house arrest for internationally renowned architects Stefano Boeri and Cino Zucchi, who are under investigation for tender manipulation and falsification in connection with the international competition for the construction of the Beic, the European Library of Information and Culture, which should be built by 2026 in the Porta Vittoria area.
