The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime has sent for trial the case of the former lawyer, Alban Bengasi , who is accused of ordering the rape of his ex-wife, Blerta Bengasi. He even asked for her to be eliminated physically.

Alban Bengasi is accused of the criminal offenses "Domestic violence", to the detriment of the citizen Blerta Bengasi (Ruçi), committed in the form of a structured criminal group and the commission of criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization".

According to the SPAK file, the case refers to the event that happened on January 30, 2020, when at around 11:15 in the morning, on "Mihal Grameno" Street, Tirana, " at the moment when citizen Blerta Bengasi (Ruçi) entered her vehicle with license plate AA 282 DI, was violated by a person, who punched him many times in the face and back of the head, causing damage to his nose, mouth and teeth. Afterwards, the injured Blerta Ruçi notified the police about the incident .

Based on the investigations carried out by the Special Prosecutor's Office, it was possible to identify the persons who cooperated in the violence against citizen Blerta Ruçi, as well as the role of each person involved.

" Specifically, the defendant Alban Bengasi (ex-husband of the victim Blerta Ruçi), due to family conflicts, was the one who commissioned the act of violence, the co-investigator Festim Qoli, is the person who offered the defendant Nuredin as a "job" Dumani, and then enabled the meeting between the defendants Alban Bengasi and Nuredin Dumani. The defendant Nuredin Dumani is the person who followed the citizen Blerta Bengasi, to learn the itinerary of her movements and her daily life, and the co-investigator Eljo Bitri is the executor, the person who hit the citizen Blerta Bengasi, on the day of the event, it is said. in the notification of SPAK.

SPAK also explains that the investigation has revealed the involvement of another person in the crime, a friend of the co-investigator Elio Bitri, unidentified so far, who appears in the role of an assistant as he was the driver of the vehicle with which the co-investigator left Eljo Bitri from the scene.

" These citizens have cooperated in the form of a structured criminal group, extending in time and places the activity of pursuing the victim of the criminal offense, as well as having a clear division of roles in the commission of the criminal offense", it is said further further in the notification of SPAK.
