New details have come to light in the murder of Albanian-Ecuadorian Artur Tush , 44, who was shot 11 times outside the Santafé shopping mall in Colombia.

Investigators have identified the perpetrators of the attack, who are suspected of being part of the " La Oficina Premium " criminal group, which targets high-status foreigners in Medellin and other cities in Colombia.

Tushi's murder is suspected to be linked to human and drug trafficking, involving Albanian, Ecuadorian and Colombian criminal gangs. The victim was shot while returning to his home, in a planned assassination attempt to eliminate his criminal activity.

According to reports, this case is part of a series of four murders of foreigners in Medellín in recent years. The other victims include a Mexican, an American and two Canadians.

One of the victims is Horacio Pérez Ledezma , 54, a Mexican businessman, killed in a restaurant in the Provenza sector of El Poblado .

The Canadians killed were Jonathan Christopher Acevedo García and Jesse Marcel Arrigo , who were shot at the Mall del Indio and near Las Palmas Avenue, respectively. The names of the American victims have not been released by authorities.

According to the mayor, Federico Gutiérrez, this criminal organization operates internationally and is suspected of being behind murders in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Chile.

Investigations have revealed the use of international phone lines, documents and financial networks to hide their activity, including payments to tax havens and cryptocurrencies.

Investigators also found that members of the group performed esoteric rituals before committing the crimes, sacrificing at least four goats and recording the rituals to convince clients of the effectiveness of their actions.

The nine detainees of the group are under investigation for murder, arms trafficking and other criminal activities, while authorities continue their investigations to uncover all international connections and criminal implications of the " La Oficina Premium " structure./ Infobae
