The State Police reopens applications for 300 positions for "General

State Police/Reopen applications for 300 positions, for "General Patrol" at the Professional College, at the Security Academy, in order to fill vacancies in 9 local police directorates.

In order to select, through a transparent competition process, the best and most prepared applicants, the State Police reopens applications to fill vacant positions in the local police directorates in the districts: Tirana, Durrës, Korçë, Fier, Vlorë, Lezhë , Shkodër, Kukës and Dibër.

Admission quotas at the Professional College of Police Training, at the Security Academy, are 300, and are divided according to the organic needs of the Local Police Directorates.

Applications are open until 15.03.2023. Each of the applicants must submit the documentation to the Local Police Directorate, where he has his permanent residence.

We emphasize the fact that the applications made from 15.11.2022 to 30.12.2022, at the Local Police Directorates, are valid, and those applicants who have passed the documentation verification stage, will continue with the next stage, that of theoretical testing, on the date to be notified by the human resources structures in the DVP where they applied.

At the end of all the stages of the competition, the 300 applicants who will be winners in the list of the district where they applied, based on the quotas set for each district, will attend the studies for "General Patrol" at the Security Academy.

APPLICATION CRITERIA

The criteria, which must be met by the applicant, to follow the studies in the basic school of the Police, for "General Patrol", are:

- To be an Albanian citizen;
- Be no more than 30 years old;
- Be at least 170 cm tall for men and not less than 160 cm tall for women;
- Not to be excluded from the State Police, other national security structures or to have left the civil service;
– To have full ability to act;
- Be in good health and physically able to perform the duty and not have visible marks (tattoo) that are not covered by the Police summer uniform;
- To have finished secondary education;
- Not to be convicted by a final court decision, for committing a crime or an intentional criminal misdemeanor;
- To have proof of ability to drive a vehicle, type "B";
- Be equipped with a certificate of reliability.

APPLICATION DOCUMENTATION

Applicants must submit the following documentation for application to the Police:
- The motivated request, in which the reasons why the applicant wants to become part of the State Police are expressed;
– Application form and authorization for providing documentation;
– Photocopies of the identity card;
– Official document certifying completion of secondary education;
- Photocopies of the proof of driving ability, type "B";
– Court certification;
- Certification from the prosecution;
- Photocopies of the work book, for those who are in work relationships or have severed work relationships;
– Certificate of attending higher education (for those continuing higher education);
- Document issued by health institutions, certifying that the applicant is not a user of narcotic substances;
– Mandate-payment of the application fee.

The medical check-up and the analysis that proves that you are not a drug user are procedures that are carried out in the health check-up phase.

The criminal record and the family certificate are issued by the police structures where the application is made.

Each applicant, for any uncertainty that may have been related to this process, can be directed to the Human Resources structures of the Local Police Directorate or to the Human Resources Directorate in the General Directorate of the State Police.
