A gas cylinder exploded in a flat on the fifth floor of a building in Pogradec.

The event happened in the early hours of Thursday morning in neighborhood no. 5, where fortunately there were no injuries.

At the time of the explosion, there were two elderly people in the apartment, who, according to them, were drinking their morning coffee while the canister leaked gas and then exploded.

As a result, the explosion caused numerous material damages, where the window of the apartment from the fifth floor flew down to the ground, endangering people's lives.

This street is one of the most populated and with the largest number of citizens during the morning hours. Police and firefighters are at the scene and are conducting the relevant investigations.
