He was bringing 11 kg of heroin into Albania, the dog discovered the drug load

A large quantity of narcotics of the heroin type was discovered by the Kukës Police in cooperation with the customs service of Albania and Kosovo, at the border point of Morini.

As part of the "Coordination" operation, it was possible to arrest the 39-year-old man from Peja AK, 39 years old, who had hidden 11 kg of heroin in his car.

AK was trying to enter Albania with the "Volkswagen" vehicle, when he was stopped by police officers and checked with anti-drug dogs.

Joint investigations continue for the documentation of this criminal activity, as well as for the identification and capture of other citizens who may have been implicated in this case.    

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Kukës, for further actions.
