Six prosecutors in the country will fill the vacant positions, following a draft act approved by the High Prosecutorial Council.

In an official announcement by the KLP, it is stated that during the meeting held on February 13-14, the draft act for filling the vacancies was unanimously approved as follows: Durrës Prosecutor's Office - 5 positions; Elbasan Prosecutor's Office - 10 positions; Tirana Prosecutor's Office - 10 positions; Shkodër Prosecutor's Office - 2 positions; Fier Prosecutor's Office - 1 position; Appeals Prosecutor's Office - 3 positions.

The KLP also approved the ranking of candidates for the vacant positions No. 1 and No. 2 in the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, according to the transfer procedure with parallel movement. The ranked candidates are: 1. Vitjuna Mata; 2. Gentian Habazaj and 3. Blerta Hamza.

The Council also unanimously approved the appointment of prosecutor Pranvera Gruda as Legal Advisor to the High Prosecutorial Council.

In this session, the KLP decided to initiate the procedures for verifying the assets and character of the 26 candidates for magistrate prosecutors, who will graduate in the academic year 2024-2025. In this context, a draw was also held to assign the respective rapporteurs.

Further, the Council approved the completion of the procedure for verifying the assets and character of prosecutor Dhorina Theodhori, candidate for the position of head of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Korça.

The Council also approved the request for prosecutor Eni Çulli to exercise his activity outside of his duties.

In conclusion, the KLP reviewed and approved the annual reports for 2024 of the Disciplinary Committee, the Ethical and Professional Activity Evaluation Committee, and the Strategic Planning, Administration and Budget Committee.
