The Special Court has released the decision through which it rejected Marklen Haka's request for release from prison.

Haka, also known by the identity Markelen Aliu, has been in prison since September of last year, when he was arrested on behalf of Operation "Revanshi", an operation that targeted 7 criminal groups.

SPAK is investigating the 34-year-old from Fushë-Kruja for the attempted murder of Durim Bami, preparing the conditions for his murder, a structured criminal group and illegal possession of weapons. According to the decision, Haka's request for a reduction in the security measure of "prison arrest" was rejected because SPAK's suspicions against him are based on evidence, that there is a risk that he will leave and that he poses a social danger.

The existence of the risk of Marklen Haka fleeing, the court decision stated, is confirmed by the fact that on May 17, 2024, the day when the fact that there was an arrest warrant against him was made public, he was not found at home. He was able to be arrested a few months later, in September of the same year.

According to the SPAK investigation, also referring to communications on SKY ECC, during 2020 Marklen Haka was engaged in preparing the conditions for the murder of Durim Bami.

The financier and client was former socialist MP Arben Ndoka, currently wanted.

Several other people were also interested in eliminating Bami, while in total there were 12 people involved in this plan, as financiers, executors, or informants.

In this incident, SPAK claims that Marklen Haka had the role of providing information on the location of Durim Bami with the aim of killing him.

Haka shared the information he had with Emiliano Shullazi.

While in the failed assassination attempt on Durim Bami on November 4, 2020 at the Ura e Tapizës, Marklen Haka had the role of observer in the Fushë-Krujë area and informed other actors involved.

During the planning for this event, the client had promised 500 executioners for the physical elimination of Durim and Valter Bami.
