Stepfather arrested after stabbing 18-year-old to the head! Police provide

Korça Police have solved the serious incident that occurred yesterday evening. 

A momentary quarrel within the family ended with the injury of an 18-year-old by his stepfather.

Official police sources indicate that at around 9:55 PM, AS, around 18 years old, arrived at the Korça hospital with a head injury caused by a cutting instrument.

"The young man was injured during a conflict for weak motives with his stepfather, citizen NB, 37 years old. Immediately after the injury, the suspected perpetrator quickly left the scene to escape arrest. Thanks to the response of the Police services, it was possible to locate, capture and escort the 37-year-old to the Police Station, who is now behind bars for further procedural actions," the local police announced about the incident.

"Investigations into the crime continue, while the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its work in the field to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document this serious case."

At around 21:55, citizen AS, around 18 years old, was presented at the hospital with a head injury, suspected to have been caused by a cutting instrument. According to preliminary data, he was injured during a conflict over weak motives with his stepfather, citizen NB, 37 years old.

After the incident, the 37-year-old fled the scene of the conflict. Thanks to the immediate response of the Police services, it was possible to locate, capture and escort the suspected perpetrator to the Police Station for further procedural actions.

The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its work in the field to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document this serious case."
