The Shkodra Court has granted the security measure "house arrest" to a father and son, who were involved in a conflict with an injured person at the city's Polyclinic on July 16.
The court hearing, presided over by Judge Arta Llazani, Prosecutor Ndriçim Halilaj and Lawyer Bruno Pepa, took a different turn after the charge of attempted murder was dropped.
The 18-year-old and his father have expressed remorse for the conflict, which they say escalated into a heated argument. The investigation did not prove that the young man had a knife during the conflict. Based on the evidence presented and the remorse shown, the court imposed the measure "House Arrest".
Arben Kepëca, accused of the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons, was also released under the same security measure. Kepëca was defended by Besmir Vukaj.
