The murder of the businessman Ardjan Nikulaj, there are already 6 people identified and wanted, but none of them have been arrested so far.

The criminal police of Lezha and the city prosecutor's office have developed a research work that has served to clarify the event, providing strong evidence that proves the direct involvement of Edmond Haxhia, the four British citizens, Harry Simson, Thomas Mithan, Steven Hunt, Harriet Bridgeman and a Portuguese Ruben Saraiva.

Yesterday, the police managed to find the "Yamaha X Max" motorcycle in the Drin river, which was bought on March 28 in Tirana against the financial sum of 1800 euros.

The engine was sunk in the river not more than 100 meters from Edmond Haxhia's apartment, in the village of Kakarriq in Lezha.

Meanwhile, a source near the Lezha police told "Ora Neës" that the "TT" crime weapon used in Nikulaj's murder was thrown into the Drin river.

The search for the weapon was carried out by RENEA divers, but without result. The search will continue today with the hope of finding the firearm.

Searches have also become more difficult due to the increase in the water level in the Drin river, due to the rains of the last few days. In addition to rising water levels, the river has become cloudy and mud may have covered the gun, making it difficult to find it.

According to the police, the village of Kakarriq was one of the main bases, where Edmond Haxhia and the Portuguese Ruben Saraiva stayed.

While a second base, which is used as their shelter, is in Shkodër. For 5 days, the police of Lezha and that of Shkodra have been conducting checks in an apartment in the city of Shkodra, where the two people stayed.

Discovering the second base and finding the weapon has now become a primary mission of the police.

Në bagazhin e këtij mjeti, policia ka gjetur disa kupona tatimorë të një supermarketi “S…r” që ushtron aktivitet tregtar në Shkodër.

Policia ka shkuar pranë ambjenteve të supermarketit, duke verifikuar kamerat pikërisht në datat dhe orën kur ishin printuar kuponat tatimorë.
