The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has refuted the news published yesterday evening in the media where it was claimed that the investigations had started against Erion Ismail as the Head of the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in the Tirana Police.

It was claimed in the media that the file which is under investigation by the prosecutor of Tirana Suela Salavaci is related to a denunciation where it is said that Ismaili has received bribes of 10 thousand euros every month to allow a call-center to freely carry out fraudulent activities with scholarships against citizens Europeans.

But, in a press release, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana says that no investigative actions have been initiated against the citizen Erion Ismaili in relation to the criminal case no. 2306 of 2023, where the citizens ES, FQ and MK were arrested
