An officer of the Traffic Police in Kavaja has been suspended from duty after allegedly accepting a bribe from a citizen.

The video was published on the "JOQ" portal, where the person who claims to have given money to the police appears. The Blues of Durrës say that the officer has been suspended until the incident is clarified.

Reaction of the Durrës Local Police Directorate:

Immediately after the publication of a video on the "JOQ" portal, through which a citizen claims to have bribed an employee of the Kavaja Traffic Police, we inform you that:

The Director of the Durrës Local Police Directorate, in accordance with Article 222 of the State Police regulation, has immediately suspended from duty, until the case is fully clarified, the Police employee, Inspector I. Ç, with the duty of a police officer. Road, in Kavajë Police Station.
