In the framework of a criminal proceeding, referred by the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Fier and followed in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Fier Judicial District Court, after a several-month investigation, the coded police operation was organized and finalized. Kolaudimi", in the framework of which the security measures "Arrest in prison" were executed, for the citizens:

-VD, 29 years old and Xh. A., 32 years old, both residents of Fier, for the criminal offense "Forgery of documents".

Also, as part of this operation, the security measures "Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service", for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", were executed for the citizens:

-RS, 32 years old, IN, 45 years old, MM, 39 years old and D. Xh., 34 years old, all four residents of Fier.

From the investigative actions carried out, it turned out that the citizens VD and Xh. A., through the relevant businesses, provided vehicle drivers with fake window tinting certificates, while 4 suspended employees of the Fier Regional Directorate of Road Transport Service, allegedly knowing about the falsity of these certificates, rated the vehicles as regular, during the checks they carried out, at the inspection points, in Fier and Lushnja.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Fier Judicial District Court, for further actions," the police announcement states.
