The lawyer for one of the 21 arrested protesters, who have appeared before the Tirana Court for the assessment of the security measure, says that the review has been completed and the court has withdrawn to make the decision, which it is not yet known when it will be announced.

"The case under consideration for the personal security measure for those arrested in the protest has just been successfully concluded. The lawyers have established the illegality of the arrest in flagrante delicto and the failure to impose security for these persons. The court has currently withdrawn to the consultation room to determine the security measures and for the arrest in flagrante delicto," said the lawyer.

The lawyer said that the Prosecution has again reduced the number of detainees for whom it is requesting detention in prison, with the justification that one of the three protesters, for whom that personal security measure was requested, has sick children at home and needs to take care of them. Most likely, the protester in question could be Altin Hila, who on the day he was arrested was heard saying: "The daughter-in-law has gone to work, the 2 little kids are alone at home, please, Durrës hospital, go to the child, I have no problem, stay in prison as long as you want, as long as the child doesn't die."

"Only for 2 people was the coercive measure 'prison arrest' requested, for one 'house arrest'," is the prosecutors' request, according to the lawyer.
