Mallakastër, an abandoned warehouse is engulfed in flames

An old abandoned warehouse was engulfed in flames near Lavand village of Mallakastër Municipality, near the former KPTHN Ballsh.

It is learned that in the warehouse there were residues of oil and solar barrels.

The warehouse is owned by two people, one from Buzmadhi i Cakran and the other from Drizari, but they abandoned it a few months ago.

In addition to the fire-fighting vehicles of the Mallakastër Municipality, a fire-fighting vehicle of the "Albpetrol" company went to the field to extinguish the fire with special fire-extinguishing materials, as water cannot be used to extinguish the flames.

Near the warehouse there is a residence and an olive oil production factory, but firefighters are standing by to prevent a fire.
