Bulgarian passports with fake certificates, 2 officials in Bulqiza are left in

Three officials were sentenced today by the Court of First Instance in Dibër. Besides the two officials, Arlin Limani and Fitim Balla, the brother of the mayor of Bulqiza Luan Mjeshtri has also been sentenced.

The latter was the Administrator of the Ostren Unit, a position in conflict of interest since his sister Fatima Mjeshtri is the head of the municipality. So far there is no reaction from her side on the case.

The master and Arlin Limani, who is a social service specialist in the Ostren Administrative Unit, have been placed under "prison arrest", while Fitim Balla (secretary of the Bulqiza Municipal Council) has been placed under house arrest.

All three are accused of issuing certificates of Bulgarian nationality in order to obtain Bulgarian passports and citizenship.
