Almost three months after an accident on the highway in Brenner, Italy, Albanian football player Kevin Kuka has died.

The promising Virtus Bolzano midfielder, who would have turned 22 on August 31, had been hospitalized since April 20 after being hit by a truck in the province of Trento.

Kevin, who was traveling in a "Golf" with some friends, had suffered serious injuries.

And after many weeks of fighting for life, he died yesterday in the intensive care unit of the Santa Chiara hospital in Trento.

Teammates and fans, who had been waiting for his return wearing T-shirts with the text "Forza Kevin", have joined in pain together with the family of the 21-year-old of Albanian origin.
