A tragedy was prevented by the police in Shkodër, who detained a 27-year-old mother of four.

According to police information, the 27-year-old woman tried to throw herself into the Buna river, along with her four minor children.

The police was notified by several people and patrols immediately intervened, avoiding the tragedy.

The 27-year-old woman tried to jump into the Buna River with her 4 minor children, thanks to the quick intervention of the general patrol patrolling the area.      

Immediately after receiving the notification, around 2:15 p.m., that a citizen was trying to jump into the Buna River, together with her 4 children, the Police services patrolling the area intervened, preventing the 27-year-old, who was trying to jump into the river, together with her 4 children aged 7, 5, 3 and 1.    

The 27-year-old woman and her children were escorted to the premises of the Shkodër Police Station.

The investigative group continues its work to clarify the circumstances of the case.
