The Ring Road in Tirana

A city on the Ring Road in Tirana has been engulfed in flames.

The incident occurred near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and it is suspected that the cause was an engine defect.

At the moment the bus caught fire, it was full of passengers who quickly got out in panic.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Police announcement:

At around 11:45, on "Jean D'Arc" Boulevard, it is suspected that as a result of a technical defect, a bus on the new ring road caught fire while in motion.

As a result, there is only material damage.

Firefighters are working to extinguish the fire, while the investigation team is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
